Back once again :)

Fri Aug 7, 2009, 5:55 AM
That's right. I'm back home again after my fair share of holidays: four day city trip to Antwerp in Belgium with ~Kiliwatch, and fourteen days to various places in Norway together with my parents. Quite a busy and enjoyable time! I'd been to Antwerp before and I just love the city, so ~Kiliwatch and I had a lot of fun.

Norway, however, was entirely new to me. And what a country it is! I was amazed and enthralled by the raw beauty of nature it possesses. Honestly, I've never seen anything like that before. Fjords, mountains, steep hills, beautiful waterfalls and lovely little cities. I've also visited two of the bigger cities in Norway: Bergen and Oslo. Totally fell in love with Bergen, even though it rains there about 216 days in a year (or so says my guide book).
The downside of Norway is that it can be quite cold! When staying in a house at about 1000 m in Rauland, it was something like 7 degrees Celcius. While in Oslo, it was steaming hot and sunny, so it really depends on which places you visit.

And now I'm back home, there's still a busy time waiting for me. I'm going to university this year, so there's enough that still needs to be done (such as getting my books, going to the introduction week, etc.). So I guess I won't be that active on deviantART the upcoming weeks -- sorry, guys.

And how about all your holidays, my friends? Visited interesting places, or just stayed at home and relaxed? Tell me about it! :aww:
